Hi all,
Unfortunately, I just got my first rejection today, very disappointed, but I hope to keep at it, and achieve my dream of doing a PhD.
To explain my background a bit, I graduated from my masters in 2001 from the UK and have been working in the Public Sector in Greece since, my research topic was around Public Sector training.
The reason I was given for my rejection was that my proposal was not of the required standard, I have read various "successful" proposals and I am not of this opinion that mine is of a lesser standard.
If I was to be completely objective I would say mine was slightly weak on the Methodology front and the Literature Review front, but when researching to write the proposal, I found myself reading so much, that I was doing the PhD before even starting just to write the proposal. Also, the supervisor I was working with was zero help, his only comment was, he was not sure.
Anyway, to get to my question, which is a bit cheeky, are there people that can review my proposal and give me constructive feedback, or would anybody in the forum be willing to do so,
Thanks.
