Does anybody know how they define the gpa? my average score of my undergrad course is 85. Which categree do I fall into? Thx

It works on the principle that a GPA of 4.0 (the max) is an A grade, and i think a 3.5 is a B. It might be 3.0 for a B but i cant remember. With 85%, your GPA would probably fall in between 4.0 and 3.5. This is more than adequate for graduate training in the US or the UK.

Thanks Steve. But I have a friend whose score is below 85. Is she eligable to apply a PhD?
