Okay, as you can tell, instead of writing a model that I just don't understand, I am finding other ways to entertain myself. So, here's a question, how old are we all and what year are we in ?

I'll get the ball rolling. I'm 24 and have just started.

27 and 1 month to go before the end of my 2nd year.

I'm 25 and just started my last year!

23 and I am 3 weeks into my PhD. :)

30 [although obviously only look about 22 ;o)], post-doc (passed viva in March so ups and downs of PhD student life still well remembered!)

See, still so fresh in mind that occasionally select wrong status in posts, doh!

Well i'm 24 and everyone thinks I look 21, which is never a bad thing. But my parents both look younger than they are, so I'm happy to concede this one to good genes :-)

I'm 30 and thanks you lot on here for making me feel so old. I should have finished my PhD last month -but as you can see I'm still writing up.

Freddy, fear not about being old. I was talking to someone at a party the other night and they said 'oh yes i'm writing up and i'm 24'. That made me feel old !
