Hi guys,
So I am currently starting my final phase of data collection, and ironically I had assumed this would have been the easiest stage. I was recruiting students, giving them lollipops as an incentive, and figured they would be happy to take part. Boy was I wrong, I am struggling to gain any kind of traction from students and it is literally killing me.
Have you guys got any ideas on ways to encourage students to take part in research? If free sweets wont do it, then I am struggling to think what will.
Give them cash? As a PhD student, I was paid at least £5 to take part in studies - this wasn't online though, I had to meet them in an office and do the test there. I think the most I got was £15 for 30 mins.
