Hay! I need a study buddy too! XD I'm doing a biology-based degree between two different institutes in the UK and I'm being driven mad by my multiple supervisors disagreeing constantly. I can't socialise with people at the institutes properly as I'm never in one place!
Hi guys,
I am a 25 years old girl from Mauritius. I'm thinking of doing my PhD in Accounting. I prepared my proposal on a Management topic but I am having to change it completely to Accounting (even if it is rare), due to my job. I am still struggling with the right topic.
I want to choose one from these:
• The increasing demand for disclosure of social and environmental information: Implications for big organisations in Mauritius.
• Accounting as art: Representation, truth and annual reports.
• Evaluation of the factors influencing the adoption of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) by Small and Medium Enterprises in Mauritius: Empirical study.
• Green Accounting: The path to a Sustainable Future for the corporate world.
I always wanted to do a PhD and change my career from corporate to academia. But I am already finding my motivation going up and down depending on the time to day, mood, etc...
I was wondering if anyone out there is interested in being a good and serious partner and to keep in touch often just to keep each other in check with how things are going, and to push/motivate me..
Thank you :)
