Anyone got or is doing a PhD from Institute of Neurology/Queen Square London?

How was it and did you enjoy it here?

I have been offered a PhD here b my current MSc project supervisor. However, we will have to apply for funding and grants and that will take a number of months and I may not get a decision until Jan 08.

Currently its cdk5 in hippocampal sclerosis (epilepsy)

Thing is that I want to be an academic medic. I don't know whether there is any possibility of me getting a similarly good PhD like this after doing medicine, or what my chances are of a good neurology post if I do medicine afterwards. Its all complicated. But I'm going to see careers advisor on Tuesday.
