Am in my second year and if I quit what happens to the project and the funding. Can my supervisor get another student or does he lose the money and project? Can I take the funding and project to someone else? Its an EPSRC case award.

As far as we know if you leave after your first 12 months your supervisor will not be able to extend the grant to accomodate another student. They would have to submit a new proposal for funding. We will do our best to check this out further for you.
