Dear all,
I would like to do a internship before starting the PhD in the same institution to get to know the people, facilities etc. I have a Master degree in Marine Biology and would go to the Australian Institute of Marine Science.
I already looked for Fundings for this internship but could not find any specific funds for graduate people.
(There is e.g. the Leonardo Da Vinci scholarship but just for the EU.)
Does anyone did that before and knows where I can apply for such funds?
All the best and thanks for your answers in advance!
Have you already been accepted for a PhD at the university? If so, you will have plenty of time to get to know the people and facilities during your first year.
If you haven't yet applied there but want to get to know them before committing yourself, I could understand that. That said, I've never heard of internships for such purposes. You might be able to spend a day or week there voluntarily.
