Can any one give me any tips as I dont know how to prepare or what to prepare.

Hi Sam - may help to think of the interview for what it is: a conversation. The main points of discussion tend to be a) your undergaduate work and b) the PhD topic. It's also worth reading some of the supervisors' recent publications. Good luck.

Hi Sam - Well done on getting the interview. Anon gives good advice as they are likely to concentrate on 2 things, the PhD topic and your undergrad dissertation as this is (usually) a students first experience of research. Be prepared to talk about your disseration and to answer basic questions about the project you are applying for (take Anon's advice about recent publications). Best wishes.

I was also very nervous at my PhD interview despite having had many interviews in my life - as I am very shy! If your nerves are going to be obvious to the interviewer I find it sometimes helps just to apologise and say to your interviewer that you are feeling nervous at the moment - once it is said you can mentally move on from it. I got my position despite a burning face throughout and madly shaking hands! people understand so dont worry..
