Any input on whether it would be worth applying for a PhD in computing?
I've just finished an MSc in IT, *but* I had not done a BSc first degree before that. This was completed on-line with Liverpool University.
Having reached 51, bored stiff with my current job from which I can take early retirement - I'd like to look into doing a PhD.
The question is, do you think that the lack of a first degree be a barrier to successful application? .... given that I do have a Masters and 25 years experience in the industry.
