I am a graduate in Chemistry (honors) and have been granted "permanent residence" status in Australia. I wish to settle in , Adelaide in Austrlia in September.
Due to lack of opportunities in my country I was made to do work in another, bitter field for about 12 years after graduation. However I have 2 year, part time research experience, but no publication.
I'm keen to work in science field after I migrate.
Is it worth doing a Phd, to secure employement in research field?
Can I do a PhD directly without MPhil?
I don't mind doing Masters if necessary. All I want to do is to get use of my knowledge and work in the field I studied. I don't want to waste time any more.
I'm in desparate need of advice.
