I just completed master study in Department of Computer Science in New York. My plan was pursue a PhD degree further, but it seems my applications are almost failed. I'm considering to join a lab as a master student currently and prepare for maybe next year's application. But I found that most research jobs are for PhD student only. I would like to know is there any research opportunities in lab or company for master student in Computer Science? If there are, what are those positions? And if you have sought for a research job, no matter as a master or Phd, would you list some research organizations in U.S.? I only know a few very famous ones.

I found my research position on jobs.ac.uk. It also advertises jobs aboard. I got it with a master but it's in microbiology.
