If I am successful and become a PhD graduate, what sort of job can I expect to get after this without being on the post-doc cycle? Will we get better salaries/positions. I am in the biomedical research area and am wondering what a 36 year old PhD graduate will become? Is the 'Dr.' status taken seriously? Thanks everyone - good luck! Andy xx
I'm in the same situation of you. I have a Msc in Electronic Engineering and now I am in America with a full time job. I have the chance to do a PhD part-time here, but I don't know if it is the case to invest so many years and if the PhD could mean something in addition to a job experience. Keep in mind that I want to come back to Europe
