any University in England welcome some scientific reseerches (on linguistics) done in Vietnam? Can a first-year student apply for a D.A course?

I'm afraid we're not sure what you mean by DA course. What kind of First Year student are you (ie which degree are you curently doing?).

A very good resource for information on Linguistics (including PhDs) is www.linguistlist.org

i think they meant PhD or DPhil. See their degree is Linguistics which would be BA, then MA and then to this person DA. Catch the drift?

thank sweetchic and FindAPhD Team for your replies. I am now 1st-year student of English Department-College of Foreign Languages-Vietnam National University. I meant Doctor of Art by D.A. I have finished 2 researches, 1 is on English literature, the other is on conversation. Might I send them to any linguistics department of Universities in England. I am first-year student now but I wish to purchase a D.A degree soon. May I apply for ph.D courses before I finish my university time? And are there scholarships for Ph.D courses? Thanks in advance

I'm afraid we're not sure whether you will qualify. You can pay the National Recognition Information Centre to let you know if your qualifications are equivalent to a UK 2(i) Bachelors Degree (the standard you need to have attained). Try contacting the university you are interested in first and ask the to assess your qualifications (they will do it for free).
