Hi All!
I'm an '06 Harvard grad with not-stellar overall grades (3.48 GPA), decent performance in the economics department as an undergrad (3.63 GPA, v. high thesis and honors general exam grades), and a 1600/6.0 on the GRE. Since graduation I've been working at a fairly wellregarded economic consultancy, and I think I have strong LORs.
What do you guys think my chances of admissions are for the MSc Econ or MSc Finance and Econ at the LSE?
Thanks so much - I'm getting anxious just thinking about this stuff!
worked in central banking for 3.5 yrs.. For the past year i worked in consultancy..
Problem is that i have an offer from WARWICK Business school for MSC Econ and Fin. and have to give them a reply in 3 weeks PLUS a non-refundable deposit of stg1,000. So i need to have a reply soon
hey, well hopefully we'll hear back sooner than that. any chance Warwick will let you keep them hanging a bit longer?
and do you think it'd be reasonable to get in touch with LSE and mention this constraint to them? maybe the grad office - or the dept even - could just move your app a few slots higher in the pile...?
