LSE - MSc Finance (Part-time)

P

Hi everyone,

I intend to study the MSc Finance parttime at LSE.

The course was launched last year and being 2 year course no batch has still graduated. So there is limited factual information on the employability post this course.

The reason for pursuing this course is that i want to get into banking and cant think of any other way. At the moment I am a part qualified accountant and hope to qualify by the time i finish this degree.

Suggestions and feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you

J

Hi,

I am an offer holder for 2007 entry.

I'm an associate at a US investment bank and this course is v. highly regarded.

Luckily they have fully fuded it for me

Thanks for the reply.

Would you be taking up the offer?

J

Hi, no worries.

I shall be taking it up. As I said, my firm are paying for it (10k p.a is pretty steep imo) and I see it as a very good qualification to move on within my company to a trading/quant analyst role.

The course outline seems 'do-able' as Ive a friend who is about to commence a similar MSc at Birkbeck and he will be there 3 times per week and the hours are shocking!

Hi there, I'd like to ask if the fees of £10,000 per annum for the Master in Finance(part-time) applies to the uk citizen too?
