thank you guys for your responses
RogueAcademic- Yes i do have more than ten years experience working as assistant financial accountant and want career change, currently studying for CFA(chartered financial analyst) along side my ba financial services not sure if that will make any difference but just trying anything really to spring board me into financial services.
Investment banking - I would tell you to go for it. Do a Masters to set yourself apart from everyone else. It doesn't matter what age you are and it'll only be a year or max 2 years part-time! It will go by quickly and you could perhaps do a Masters part time whilst working. If you do a full time Masters (1 year) then you can come back with a better qualification, more knowledge and skills and especially now what is happening in the markets I would advise you to do a Masters - use this time to get ahead. Hopefully you'll come back at a better time when banks will be recruiting more and you'll have a better chance of getting a job (esp. with more knowledge!). Hope it goes well. S
