The varied courses offered at these universities are almost the same for the 1st term and its just on ur basis of specialization for the 2nd term..Wat would be the job prospects on completion of the course out der? Would welcome an unbiased review!! Thanks..

The City of Edinburgh is a good location to study financial courses from The University of Edinburgh which you mention but also Heriot-Watt University or one of the other of the city's universities.

The reason I focus on the City of Edinburgh is that it has the head-quarters of some very well established financial institutions, such as the Royal Bank of Scotland. Not to mention that the financial companies in Lothian Road, Charlotte Square and other parts of the City have great ties with the sector. If you choose a course which has links with business (such as lecturers from the financial sector or visits to companies) that may work well in your favour.

No matter which institution you choose, the employment opportunities for finance related subjects is relatively high. Look for the "what do graduates do" report by "Which?" for an independent view of employment prospects for an area of study.
