Hi Olena, what exactly do you need help with? Have you been asked to write a reference for someone else or do you need someone to provide a reference for you? If the latter, then you need to ask someone who knows you and can vouch for your academic abilities (as I'm sure you know).
Hello,
The following is very simple, practical solution for a busy teacher / professor.
Ask the student to write a reference letter soft copy (honestly) and that gives you a starting point!! After this is done, save that on your computer. In you teaching career you'll have to write 100 more reference letters probably!!!!
Sorry Olena, in my experience, you rarely get to see a reference written about yourself - they are usually requested by an academic institution or an employer directly to the person nominated by the applicant. The referee then sends the reference directly back to the requester. A tip for writing a reference for someone though, is to comment on the applicant's ability to perform the tasks described in the job or project description.
