Today's software applications are mainly characterized by their component-based structures which are usually heterogeneous and distributed. Agent technology provides a method for handling increasing software complexity and supporting rapid and accurate decision making. A number of different approaches have emerged as candidates for the agent architecture, and at the same time, dozens of environments for modeling, testing and finally implementing agent-based systems have been developed. Software agent has been developed and it is a well-known MAS (multi-agent system) development kit supporting a world-wide agreed agent standard.
