Hi all, I would like to ask a question concerning the monthly stipend. Professor offers me a scholarship which will cover my monthly expenses. The range that he told is from 1100 to 1500 Euro per month. Is it possible that I negotiate? for example, negotiate for 1300?
Thanks
Pippo has obviously had problems in the past, but don't let this put you off. You can't really negotiate, but your grant will probably rise each year. Simply ask you professor what your grant will be per month for the first year.
DRH, you need to ask your supervisor these questions. If you are doing a PhD in the UK system then the people paying your scholarship are paying for your education and you are not in a position to negotiate with them.
bullshit! Never had a class in one year! spend nine months doing stuff I where not interested to learn dont have anybody appointed to teach me! where is my education? still dont know who is really paying my studentship never had to sign anything about it! u can look for better paid studentship founding body or whathever
