I am from India want to enroll for online PhD. I did my M.A(History) and M.Phil(History) from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India and in 2007 enrolled for PhD with Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, India. I paid my fees too., and got a letter from the head of the department that I am a student of PhD and selected a topic

"Vedas- A New Critical Analysis with Special reference to Human Body and Health"

Based on the admission letter I started my work, visited nearly 20 libraries, manuscript libraries, referred palm leaves scripts, and consulted scholars and completed my thesis which quotes about NaNo Technology, Bio inorganic Chemistry, and through which I discovered Chemistry of Ayur Vedha and Siddha Medicine, and through this, identified Chemistry of cancer and Mechanism of Coma.

I did this thesis under the guidance of Dr.M.Sundararaj, who was the Reseach coordinator, with Tamil Nadu Archives and record room library and carried out my research at Government oriental manuscript Library and Research Center.at Chennai, Tamil nadu, India.

The thesis is very much ready in soft copy in PDF which needs to be presented and published in hard copy for the award of a Degree "Doctor of Philosophy"

Now the university blocked the admissions and the issue of registration number is also with held due to management reasons which is challenged by me at Orissa High Court.

Now at the age of 60, I wish to present this thesis for the award of a PhD degree., and when surfing found about online PhD.

I need your guidance in this and please let me know how to apply for this course.

Secondly how will the university that offers online PhD carry out viva voce?

How will they test the ability of the scholar.

I'm not sure how to answer your question; sorry to hear that you have some problems now about your viva.

It must have been a lot of work to write on the Vedas. Understandably you would like to defend your thesis; is there any way you can find resolution for the problem with the university? Surely your supervisor has some good advice for you.

have you sent out any articles for publication? Another thing you could do is look out for universities which have a department of Sanskrit studies, History or Philosophy, this kind of area, then you could maybe just ask the experts in these area.

its in Andhra, they emphasize a lot on human values; perhaps someone from there will be interested in your thesis.

in fact, I am also interested to read your thesis; especially when you are writing on the veda in relation to health.
I am guessing you are going beyond explaining the gunas and effect on health, illness also? do you talk about ageing and effects of that on health from vedic perspective? it is very interesting indeed.
