One of my friends (a EU national) is doing a part time PhD in Social Sciences from a UK institution. She started in 2007 as a full time student but converted in into part time after 2 years. It can be re converted into full time. It was self funded up till now, however are there any ways of getting any funding for it to support tution fees and living expenses? Any ideas?
