I have got admission in the University of Nottingham in PhD programme (Manufacturing Management / Engineering Department). I applied for DSS scholarship but they announced the results before my admisson was finalised. Now Uni of Nottingham is very expensive (11000 Pounds) and it is not possible to attend it without funding. People in my country are telling me to join and then do part time jobs. But I think that one can not earn to pay for tuition and living expenses both. Can I have the guidance please.
Just finished my part-time PhD 7 years .... It's gonna be a hard stretch, but if you want it go for it. I had 2 Jobs + PhD one time .. still alive.
Anyway, if yo manage to get a place at a Uni they might be understanding timewise. I had time when I worked at st Andrews .. Good luck!!!
