Anyone know about universities offering Phd by prior publication in medicine / surgery please

I thought most universities restricted PhDs by publication to members of staff or alumni. I honestly don't know any universities that publicly offer it and I think you would have better luck asking universities directly.

There are many that offer a PhD by publication to all-comers- certainly the one that I work at does.

What I find odd is that someone who presumably has a track record in publishing is unable to use google!
