Hi there, I have just completed an MSc course and this year I will continue working in my supervisors lab as a volunteer so as to try and get a publication more. There is a possibility that the project that I worked on this year will be published. i have a 2:2 degree and a good pass in my master. Does anyone know if I have any chances of getting some sort of founding for a PhD?
Yeah that sounds like a good plan! If you get publications it'll mean you're sorted! And working as a volunteer shows you're committed! It'll mean you have a good a chance as anyone of getting funding! You should try your supervisor to see if he/she has any projects or knows of anyone with projects going! I'm doing something similar to you and I've had a good response so far although competition is still fierce!
