who is a full-time PhD student (not teaching at all) and who is a PhD student/teaching monkey (like me)?

Explanation of second option: full-time with teaching (not P/T)

I'm a FT and do some teaching, not loads though.

Full time but do some teaching and supervising for some extra cash.

Okay, it took me a while but I finally worked out that Oxbridge is just a combination of Cambridge and Oxford. Now can someone please explain to me what a gimperial is? Confusled.
