I have been accepted to do a PhD. But I can't get any funding. For the last couple of months, I have tried all. I sent out my proposal to a thousand of organisations/individuals. As an oversea student, £8k a year is too much...i am so stressed out, desperate and depressed now. i haven't even started the course. Pls advice. Thanks.
What about the university finance office of the university you've been accepted to ? Often they can be very useful for information on sources of funding. Also ask whether it is possible to do any work whilst you're doing your PhD, marking, tutoring etc and see if that could be a viable option.
