I am currently considering doing a PhD in biodiesel production from Jatropha (broadly speaking), can anyone give tips, insights? I just completed an MSc in Biotechnology, however I worked with actinomycetes and their drug-producing genes. I know both toppics are not so related but the molecular techniques used are pretty similar. I am currently having discussions with the supervisor and I would really love to have ideas from anyone working in this area; especially after reading some of the postings on the forum, I'd like to know if this is worthwhile in terms of future relevance and job opportunities.
