I am a new thread member and am seriously considering in returning to school for a PhD. I currently hold a Masters in Public Administration and a Masters in Geography and Urban Planning. I am in the US/North Carolina. I have a dissertation topic picked and my professors feel I would be a good candidate. My problem is I am 46 and am struggling with staying in school until I am 50. I also need to retake the GRE. Anyone out there in the middle age range like me and anyone either done, doing or considering a PhD in Geography or specifically emergency management issues, radio communications and/or public safety? Thanks.....Mike
