i just finished the degree this year and get Bsc of 2.1 in university of derby. and now, university can offer me doctor of philosophy or MA in Marketing Management. i don't know which one is more suitable for me. and which topic is suitable in Marketing research. and is Master of phil one year or two year? is that the first stage of Phd?

An MPhil can be used as the first stage of a PhD, but you should ask your department whether you will be able to convert to a PhD after 12 months. Most MPhil programmes are 12 months long. If you wish to do research then you should be aiming to complete a PhD.
