I want to know if any one is aware whether doing a PhD in Law from New Zealand University is good? As New Zealand gives full time work right to PhD students.
And is getting a job in New Zealand is hassle free I mean is the employment rate good? Can please any one advise me. I was thinking of doing PhD in UK but it is not a good option so thinking of doing it from New Zealand. Please reply. Thanks
Hi,
I studied in New Zealand (not in law). Dependent on what country you are from the process to gain entry to the country requires medical clearance(which can be a long and expensive process). As far as employment goes-once again there is a process to gain a work permit/pr. Cost of living is high and dependent on what area you end up with ie North Island (auckland) is more expensive than the South Island (Dunedin). Good luck.
