I am a MBA and Computer Engineer working currently in Software Industry.

I have completed Computer Engineering and MBA from India (Mumbai University) and have 10 years of experience in IT industry.

I would like to pursue a PhD in Management or Computer Science in USA.

I would appreciate any guidance provided.

What preparations I need to do to get into PhD program (GMAT, toefl, generally application preparation takes about a year, including your search for right programs)


Any good schools in West coast (univ of california berkeley....but go online and look for phd rankings,...)



What would be timeline to get into and complete PhD program (application prep= 1 yr, you apply in dec-jan, decisions are made by next may june, classes start in aug, ......total completion time 4-6 yrs...)



What would be the cost and how I could afford it or may be get schlorship if possible (scholarship/assistanceship, no one does phd from out of pocket, and if univ is not giving you scholarship, it means they are politely/practically rejecting you,.......... scholarship covers tuition and living expenses..but is hand to mouth)
