I have an interview for a funded PhD position at Manchester University this week. Am just wondering if anyone has any advice or examples of intelligent sounding questions i can ask them :-)

Well done on the interview ~ make sure you ask them what support they will provide for you throughout your PhD ~ remember that it works both ways and although you would be really grateful for the funding, it also has to be right for you

Try and ask specific questions about the project and techniques used - look as though you've put thought in the project. Perhaps suggest a direction to take the project in as often the descriptions are quite vague. Good luck, let us know how you get on :-)
