I posted a question about PhD interviews on here a few weeks ago and since then, I've been offered a PhD. However, I'm not sure whether to accept. My offer is for my second choice at the place where I applied, but I'm not sure whether my degree is in the right area for it - my degree is in Pharmacology but a lot of the work is brain physiology and electrophysiology. I had a bad experience on an earlier undergrad course and don't want to make the same mistake again, ending up somewhere where I can't cope with the work. However, it's a really prestigious MRC Centre with world experts in the area... I need to decide what to do in the next week or so. Help!
