Hey guys,
I am a current Master student from Germany studying Neuroscience and I have to apply soon for a position for my master thesis.
I am still very unsure what the next steps will be after I finished my masters. Phd would be one option although I know for sure that I don't want to stay in academia, but rather would go to industry. Also I have the feeling that I finally want start working, since I am already 26 and I am really tired of moving from one place to another. I'm really looking forward to settle somewhere start a new life in a company.
I found a small company close to my hometown, where they offer a trainee program. I thought this might be something for me, since I will live close to my family and can start in a company. However I have no experience with that and I am not sure if such a trainee program is worth doing or if it might be better to do phd and then look for a position in company.
What is you experience or opinion on that problem?
