I have finished my Msc in Molecular biology and cell biology at Gothenburg university. My thesis was about sequential comparisons of HOG pathway components among yeasts and filametous fungi.I would like to continue my studies in the same field. If there is/are a open PhD position/s in Microbiology i would really like to apply for it. Please inform me.
Not aware of positions available but maybe i can throw a question back at you - i'm looking for a pHD in sweden! Generally who should I contact, and when? I have sent several emails to heads of research groups but got no replies... is there a different official way of applying?
By the way my email is [email protected]. Any help would be GREAT.
Usually you can find the contact address in the related university's web side but it is better to call them or i don't know if you have any contact(friend) who can help you here in Sweden. You have to check the deadlines for the open positions hence you have to call them or send your application before dead lines. You should contact with the student counsellors they will assist you
pls find info at Microbiology Lab, ICGEB, Trieste
site is http://www.icgeb.org/RESEARCH/TS/Microbiology.htm
it is a lab working in yeast. We were in Goteborg a couple of years ago for the Yeast meeting : a nice town!
