Phd versus Mba

G

hello, I am currently completing a part time MSc in information science. I am a bit intrigued by some firms
proposing top positions for "MBa or PHd" holders? A Phd can really compete with top Mba?
I would appreciate if you have some feedbacks (or real example) regarding this matter. Thanks a lot.

An MBA takes twelve months as a full time course, a PhD takes at least three years full time and is a higher academic qualification. The PhD research topic you choose will have a large bearing on whether or not it is of more relevance for a career in business than an MBA.
