I'm an Indian doing an MS in India. I'm planning to PhD after this. I need to know exact procedure to be followed to get in to some good university in USA. It will be great if some one could help me.

There are no exact procedures to follow in order to be admitted by a top US university. it depends on YOU! try to sit down and analyse yourself first, see if you really suitable to do a phd, and the resources, etc. then see if these strength and weakness are matching to the ph.d requirement.
