I have the following offers to do my MSc which one would you recommend it?
Kings College: Mobile and Personal Communication,
Southampton: Nanoelectronics
University of Surrey: Mobile and Satellite Communication,
University of Bristol: Wireless Communication Networks and Signal Processing,
City University: Telecommunications and Networks,
Bath University: wireless Systems and also Digital Communications
Ideally I'm planning to go for Southampton University, but is it a right decision?
well, I'll do a PhD. if you look at the courses that i have offer on they all to do with Communications, so most likely to go for Communication field for my PhD. but some people say that PhD Communication field is now crowded try to go for something new, that's why i thought Southampton University is better than others and also if you look at the 2009 ranking of the universities in the electronic field Southampton University is second. but still not sure yet,
Nanoelectronics sounds like the most interesting by far! Everybody seems to be doing all the other stuff on that list - at least with the southampton one there are more opportunities to get involved with some really interesting and original stuff, and what better time to do it than now!
Good luck with deciding Raham, but I think deep down you already know which one you want to do 8-)
