Hi all. Just looking at it "tactically" what would you do in the following situation: I know I want to do PhD in Drosophila molecular genetics. Should I do my final year project in similar lab, or lab with same focus but different organism (yeast perhaps), or same organism but different theme (organogenesis or something)?
Try and do your final year project in something similar, if you want to stay at the same uni especially, its def good to get your feet under the table in the department you eventually want to work with for your phd! Also you can try and continue the work of your project for your phd, if it is offered at a uni and can get the funding.
