Public Policy or Law, Gov & Dev?

H

I'm trying to decide between these two masters at Australia National University. The Masters of Public Policy or the Masters in Law, Governance and Development (Non-legal background). I have a BA in International Relations (Hons) at Griffith.
I want a career in policy related institutions and/or research, whether in government ngos or possibly private sector. Down the track (2-5 years) Im considering a PhD.
Now in the immediate short term (2-4 years) Im more concerned with which type of area is more recognised and more employable?

The LG&D Masters is a more recent masters at ANU with subjects overal that I think I would enjoy a bit more. The Public Policy one though seems to me to be one that more employers would be aware of. Both have similarly themed subjects, one is just has a legal underpinning to them, the other not so. The Public Policy one though is part of the Crawford department which is under some major upgrading from personal, buildings and research.

Basically which type of master would be more employable, recocgnised etc..?

*Note. I've already been given the go for the Public Policy program.
