Hi guys, just signed up to get your suggestion on where to go.
I want to work as a research analyst at an investment bank or might go to corporate finance at investment management companies or big4. which uni would be a good option. University of Queen Mary or Southampton university. i know Bath is a good option. what else do you think is a better choice. thanks in advance
Queen Mary without a doubt. It's part of the university of london which includes UCL, King's college and LSE. Hope this helps
thanks a lot. but recently heard that bnks and some other fin institutions prepfer graduates from russel group universities.
but sure i will go to queen mary
thanks
I'm at Queen Mary and I wouldn't advise that anybody else even consider going there. The financial position of the place is really shaky and impacts upon the quality of teaching. The university is taking on more students than it can reasonably accomodate and the result is absolute chaos.
The university of London has a solid reputation but QM is one college that does not reflect the ethos of the University of London.
Try Kings or UCL instead, the position there is much better.
Hope this help.
