I am applying to PhD programme in Management. I've done litreview and wrote most part of the research proposal: why and what on the topic, research questions/hypotheses. But when it came to Research methodology section, I am not sure how far I should go. I wrote that I will use preliminary interviews, and survey questionnaire afterwards. Should I tell what questions I will ask, and whether I will develop my own instrument, or use someone else’s questionnaire to test hypotheses? How long should this section be in a proposal of 1000 words (3 pages)?
