Hi, perhaps one for the marine biologists out there!
I'm looking for historical Sea Temperature Data in the Med, preferably at a high resolution (hours, or days) for a period of one year (any year, any place).
Any idea where I might find this, say in excel format?
Thanks!
Perhaps the database section of the EUCC website would be a good start (www.coastalguide.org). If it doesn't hold the data, it might at least link to some people working in that area.
Or you could send out an email to some coastal mailing lists: check out www.cozone.org.uk or http://earth.boisestate.edu/home/dwilkins/geomorphlist/geomorph-l.htm
Hope that helps.
Also, www.eurometeo.com/english/sst does temp and wave info, but not sure if it keeps archived historical data...
Also, check out the authors on this paper: www.copernicus.org/EGU/os/osd/3/1399/osd-3-1399_p.pdf
