I went for a PhD interview on Monday and was told I was the last to be interviewed so we'd be contacted the next day on whether or not we'd been successful. I stayed by my computer all day Tuesday, and as much as possible today but I still haven't heard anything. Should I be concerned? Should I follow up? Or am I just freaking out over nothing and need to have a little more patience?
Thanks for your advice, I did send a little follow up email although I didn't hear anything back until this morning. I didn't get it. Apparently another candidate had a stronger background in research experience than I did. I'm gutted, but from what others have said, this is an excuse I'll have to get used to hearing and it was probably a little optimistic to think I'd get accepted on the first application.
Thanks again for your advice.
