I had my PhD interview over three weeks ago and have not yet been informed of the University's decision. Each day that goes by without the letter is absolute torture and I am getting really fed up! Why is it taking so long? I was the last applicant they saw and the panel assured me their decision would be made 'very soon'. I have e-mailed the PhD supevisor but, as yet, no reply! What do I do, maybe I should apply to study elsewhere. Thanks G
Yeah, thanks Smitha. The supervisor did get back to me and it looks like there's a delay in the funding process and that notification can not advance without the clearance of sponsors etc. I hope this means I will receive an offer soon, I mean if they thought I was unsuitable surely they would have turned me down by now? Thanks again - good luck
