Hi friends, I am in dilemma. I got feedback from my supervisor on my draft thesis. I was supposed to send few pages (chunks from here and there) for corrections again. I wanted to ask her something and got automated message that she is on holidays and be back after 2 weeks. I will be submitting by then. Just wondering if it is rude to send my work even after knowing that she is on holidays or wait till she comes back. What would you do? Please suggest.
Thanks, Swetch
I would send her the work, but I'd make sure it was max 2 emails worth - i.e. I wouldn't repeatedly ask her questions over email. Chances are she's stuck her out of office on to get some work done, or to spend time with her family, but knowing you are submitting within that time, she *should* be checking your final version.
Thank you Sneaks and Alleycat393 ! I think I would rather wait...By then I will do the rest of the corrections and re-checking the thesis. These are just few pages and the small corrections which I think can be done in few hours. The other supervisor is re-checking my Literature Review chapter again which had a problem. I will get feedback for that this week and I am sure I won't be able to submit in 2 weeks. I may have to wait 2 weeks more. The more the submission time nearing, I am feeling nervous :( Thank you so much for the replies...it keeps me going :)
