Does anyone else find writing up their phd really stressful and difficult?

I'm SHOCKED!! How could anyone accept a PhD offer without knowing that you have to write a thesis etc.?? I suggest you find out the facts a.s.a.p, otherwise you will be wasting a lot of people's time, and someone with a better class of degree with a genuine interest in the subject and knowledge of what's involved could have had the position rather than you.
