OK. So I'm in a slightly awkward situation. I'm an externally funded PhD student (funded by industry not RCUK) and I have funding for the fist 3 years of my PhD (not any writing up time).

It's becoming obvious that I'm going to run over (who doesn't) and I'm looking for sources of funding to keep me going for that last (up to a ) year.

As I understand it I am not eligible for a Doctoral Loan (I started before August 2018). Does anyone know of any other sources of funding which I could use to keep the wolf from the door for a while?
